Welcome to JetRestHouston! We’re Scoey and Dr. Shaunte Morris, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to creating a comfortable, convenient space exclusively for airline employees near George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
Our Journey
Scoey has been immersed in real estate since 2018, working as a realtor and landlord, always on the lookout for ways to create inviting and practical spaces. Dr. Shaunte Morris devoted over three decades to education—most recently as a middle school principal for 11 years —before retiring to try something new.
How JetRestHouston Began
When Shaunte decided she didn’t want to go back to school for another degree, she found a creative way to support her husband’s real estate work: transforming one of his investment properties into a crash pad exclusively for airline employees. This unique venture keeps her busy, engaged, and doing what she loves most—catering to others and meeting new people.
