1. Lease Term
This Agreement shall begin on the check-in-date above and will continue on a month-to-month basis until terminated by either party with thirty (30) days’ written notice. This agreement grants the tenant a license to occupy a room at JetRestHouston and is not a traditional long-term lease.
2. Rent
Tenant agrees to pay Landlord rent according to the selections made at the top of this form:
If Tenant selects weekly payments, rent shall be $190/week (standard room) or $250/week (master room).
If Tenant selects monthly payments, rent shall be $600/month (standard room) $850month (master room).
Rent payments are due on the same day of each week or month that corresponds with the Tenant’s check-in date. For instance, if the Tenant checks in on a Monday, weekly rent payments will be due every Monday. Similarly, if the Tenant checks in on the 6th of a month and has selected monthly payments, rent will be due on the 6th of each subsequent month.
Rent payments shall be made via Zelle at jetresthouston@gmail.com.
A $25 daily late fee will be applied if rent is not received on the due date.
3. Security Deposit and Balance
Tenant agrees to pay a security deposit of $150 to be held by the Landlord as security for any damage caused to the Premises during the term of this lease. The full balance will be due the day you check-in. You will then be issued the code to enter the house and your room.
4. Utilities
All utilities are included in the rent.
5. Use of Premises
The premises shall be used solely as a crash pad for residential purposes by the Tenant and shall not be used for any unlawful purpose.
6. House Rules and Quiet Enjoyment
Tenant agrees to follow all house rules (detailed in the House Rules section), which include maintaining a respectful, clean, and cooperative environment. Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
7. Maintenance and Repairs
Tenant shall notify Landlord promptly of any needed repairs. Landlord shall be responsible for maintaining the Premises in good condition.
8. Termination
This Agreement may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days’ written notice.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements, oral or written.
Note: Continued stay requires full, on-time payment as outlined in this lease. Failure to pay rent or repeated violations of house rules may result in immediate removal and forfeiture of deposit.
